Our 100 / 800mm system is the classic 4 "entry-level size, but here in excellent optical and mechanical quality! You can assume that the optics will also meet the theoretical requirements in the sky.

The core of the device is the very high-quality 100mm lens, which we deliberately chose with a slightly longer focal ratio of f / 8.0. The focal length of 800mm is a very good compromise between visual use of high magnification and "space down" for great astrophotographic use with an extended field.

The optical design, a high-quality triplet with ED glass, has long been tried and tested. The quality of the image, which incidentally corresponds to a minimum standard of a Zeiss APQ, is underpinned by the solid cells, optimized for temperature compensation, as well as the high-quality multi-coating. The LZOS engineers have put all their knowledge into the calculation and manufacture of the frame and these optics, you can see that too! An interferometric test report is enclosed with the optics to substantiate this.

The tube is made of aluminum, has a photo-visual aperture system and is very torsion-resistant.

The device comes in a beautiful complete package, which optionally includes the high-quality APM ZTA 2.5" focuser with 1:10 micro-reduction. The focuser can be rotated through 360 ° and is also ideal for astrophotography. The APM Fast-Lock- Adapter 2 "/ 1.25" included, which is also very valuable. M63 and M68 internal thread connections are also available. Everything is completed by a Vixen-compatible connection plate, high-quality CNC pipe clamps and standard finder shoe. End caps at the front and rear prevent the penetration of Dust and foreign bodies. Everything is safely stored in a sturdy transport case. The system is almost "ready to work".
